Why kicks4DAT exists
Kids outgrow shoes faster than anyone can keep track of. Which size is Maya in now? When did we last measure? Are those boots outgrown or just muddy? kicks4DAT keeps the answers in one place: every pair for the whole family, each child's sizes with dates, a reminder when it is time to re-measure, care that makes good shoes last, and a list of outgrown pairs ready to donate.
The 4DAT way
Every 4DAT app is built on the same few rules:
- Your information stays on your device. Your collection, your kids' profiles and sizes, and your sole photos are saved in your browser. They are never uploaded to us.
- An account is optional. Use kicks4DAT without one. Sign in with Google or Apple only if you want separate collections on a shared device.
- We keep only what a feature needs. If you sign in, the sign-in service (Google's Firebase) handles your name, email, and the basic security details every sign-in needs, such as your IP address. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what and for how long, and you can delete your account at any time.
- No ads and no tracking of you. There are no ad networks, no tracking pixels, and no selling of data. Our guide pages count visits and link clicks anonymously, with no cookies and no IDs, so we know which guides help.
- Free, supported honestly. Some guides link to products on Amazon, and those links are always labeled. As an Amazon Associate, kicks4DAT earns from qualifying purchases. Using the app costs nothing.
- We collect sources, and you decide. Our care, sizing, and wear guides gather what U.S. military manuals, shoe brands, and podiatry and pediatric organizations say. Where they disagree, we show both sides instead of picking one for you.
